Win-Win Cooperation
VNET consistently adheres to the principles of fairness, integrity, mutual benefit, and reciprocity, deeply integrating sustainable development concepts into its supplier management strategies to create a greener and more sustainable supply chain system. Meanwhile, VNET actively participates in industry exchanges and collaboration to jointly promote industry innovation, development, and technological progress.
Responsible Supply Chain
VNET strictly complies with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. In accordance with the Regulations on Procurement Management, Rules on Supplier Management, and Rules on Procurement Personnel Behavior, we clearly define the division of responsibilities in the procurement process, strictly regulate the professional ethics of procurement personnel, and carefully monitor the product delivery quality of partner suppliers to ensure the high-quality operation of the entire procurement management chain.
By the end of the reporting period, the total number of suppliers in the database was 3,430. By virtue of the integration of the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system, the Group has achieved digital management of the entire supplier lifecycle, covering key aspects such as supplier sourcing, access review, contract fulfillment management, and collaborative communication. This has effectively enhanced the transparency and traceability of the procurement management process.
Industry Collaboration and Development
VNET leverages its technological advantages to play a proactive role in setting industry standards and driving technological upgrades. In 2025, VNET jointly released the White Paper on 800V DC Power Supply Technology for Data Centers (Version 2.0) with the China Data Center Committee (CDCC) and other industry partners, accelerating the adoption and development of 800V DC power supply technology in AI data centers. Additionally, VNET contributed to the development of the engineering group standard Technical Code for Fire Protection of Lithium-ion Battery Energy Storage Stations, which was officially published this year. This standard provides critical guidance for the standardized deployment of lithium-ion battery energy storage stations and holds significant implications for energy storage applications across the data center industry.
Meanwhile, VNET actively participates in a wide range of industry forums and exchange events, sharing practical experience and exchanging forward-looking insights with peers to foster knowledge sharing and collaborative innovation. We continue to work alongside business partners and stakeholders across society to jointly explore future opportunities in data center development.
Social Responsibility
VNET has always embedded social responsibility into its corporate DNA, with a strong focus on supporting education and extending warmth through community philanthropy. We are committed to fulfilling our role as a responsible corporate citizen, working alongside all sectors of society to co-create sustainable value. In 2025, VNET was honored with the “Social Responsibility Partner” title by the Jiuxianqiao Subdistrict Working Committee.
Advancing Educational Development
VNET actively promotes educational equity and social sustainability by supporting higher education development, caring for students with special needs, and promoting science literacy. These efforts provide tailored support to diverse groups at different life stages and with varying needs. In 2025, VNET undertook the following initiatives:
- Signed a donation agreement with the Tsinghua University Education Foundation, contributing RMB 3.5 million to support academic discipline development and talent cultivation.
- Launched the “AI Empowers Special Education” charity event at Dongcheng District Special Education School in Beijing, demonstrating practical applications of AI in learning and daily life to broaden students’ understanding and appreciation of artificial intelligence.
- Entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Guangzhou Mingxian Experimental High School to jointly organize science-themed activities that inspire students’ curiosity and passion for scientific exploration.
Supporting Community Public Welfare
VNET deeply understands that corporate growth is inseparable from the extensive support of society. Upholding the philosophy of “giving back to society”, we actively engage in community welfare activities, continuously investing in areas such as ecological conservation, elderly care, and emergency disaster relief, demonstrating our commitment and corporate responsibility.
In April 2025, VNET demonstrated its sustainability commitment through a tree-planting initiative, with more than 80 employees from VNET volunteering 400 hours to establish the “VNET & 21Vianet Blue Cloud 2025 Conservation Forest” in Beijing’s Yanqing District. This marks the fourth consecutive year of our tree-planting program, with a cumulative total of 1,025 trees planted since 2021. Ecologically, these thriving forests now achieves an annual carbon sequestration capacity of approximately 11.6 tonnes and 8.47 tonnes of oxygen production, continuously contributing to Beijing’s ecological resilience.
In May 2025, DYXnet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of VNET, launched the “Calories into Kindness” charity campaign. Employee volunteers participated in trampoline fitness sessions, and the calories they burned were converted into equivalent monetary donations. These funds were entrusted to a Hong Kong-based nonprofit organization that supports employment for vulnerable groups to produce charity zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). The zongzi were distributed to over 100 elderly community members during the Dragon Boat Festival, delivering warmth and generating shared value across personal health, philanthropy, and social inclusion.
In August 2025, Beijing experienced prolonged heavy rainfall, causing severe flooding across multiple areas of Miyun District. In response, VNET immediately formulated an emergency plan and procured over 1,600 units of essential relief supplies, including cooking oil, flour, and salt, for urgent delivery to Xituo Village in Bulaotun Town. This timely support strengthened local flood-response efforts and demonstrated VNET’s commitment to community solidarity and compassionate action.
